Most of the time, it's caused by a blocked drain. When your system gets dirty — like blocked filters or a dusty coil — airflow is reduced and it can cause the system to produce water excessively. This can overflow the drain pan or block the drain, leading to leaks. Regular servicing helps prevent this. A room temperature set point is the temperature you'd like your system to achieve before it either cycles off or continues to fan without a refrigerating effect. We recommend keeping it between 21°C and 23°C for efficient operation. The further you set it from ambient temperature, the harder and longer your system has to work to get there.
